You finished second four times in a row in the Pro Football PowerStat Challenge. But while this clearly makes you one of the top fantasy football brains around here, you haven’t pocketed any cash.

We didn’t think that was fair.

So we are changing the payout structure in our games to reward the Top 3 finishers in most contests (season-long events such as Free Agent Challenge will continue to pay $25 weekly for example).

For example, the winner of the $5 PowerStat would pocket $37.50 before as the lone winner. Starting this week, the winner will earn $18.75, while second place will get $11.25 and third place will get $7.50 – earning more than their money back for that performance.

MMA Fantasy game

We call it Fighting PropMaster and it focuses this week on UFC 89 from Birmingham England. There are 20 questions in our PropMaster game and you earn fantasy points – and cash – by picking the correct answers.

From the Main Event of the Bispin vs. Leben fight to the bouts on the busy undercard, you get to pick who will win; will they win by knockout or decision or submission; which round will the fight end in. The best part of all is that you can watch it for free on Spike TV, as this event is not pay-per-view.

We don’t know the combatants yet, but you can start getting ready for the final Baseball PowerStat Challenge of the Year starting this weekend. At press time, the Phillies were up 3-1 on the Dodgers and the Red Sox were trailing the youthful Rays 2-1.
