Rules

For each game on the schedule, you must choose which team’s players you feel will accumulate the most:

  • F Goals (Forwards Goals): 2 points per goal
  • D Goals (Defensemen Goals): 2 points per goal
  • PPG (Power Play Goals): 4 points per goal
  • PIM (Penalty Minutes): 1 point per 2 minutes
  • Saves (Goalie Saves): 1 point per 4 saves

The point totals from each game with be added together to give you a fantasy total for the week. League Creation Timeline: PowerStat Challenge Leagues are created and teams assigned to specific leagues at registration closing time. Teams are assigned to leagues on a first come, first assigned basis.

Standard League Size: Each League will have a minimum of two (2) teams and a maximum of 19. The optimal League size is 10 teams.

Head-to-Head Games: Just like it sounds, this is a two-person fantasy battle, mano-a-mano on the ice.

Statistics / Corrections

Following the completion of each week’s games, all statistics and point totals are verified, validated and corrections are made where necessary.

All stats are provided by PA SportsTicker and their data will be considered correct and final. However, any updates/corrections sent by PA SportsTicker prior to the Tournament winner being notified will be accepted.

Roster Definition - Changes

For each game on the schedule you must select no more than three (3) and no less than two (2) categories for each team. The maximum selections for each game is five (5) categories.

Any unselected categories will be given the point total of zero (0).

Any offensive player will receive points for any offensive statistics he accumulates.

Sportsmanship

By participating, you agree to abide by the general sportsmanship rules set forth in these rules and fantasy games in general. You further agree to accept and abide by the rulings and the decisions of the game provider regarding all questions of sportsmanship. If an owner does not comply with the sportsmanship rules as defined in these rules, or the game provider determines (at their sole discretion) that an owner has acted in an unsportsmanlike manner, the game provider reserves the right to disqualify the owner and/or remove that owner from the league. All decisions by the game provider in sportsmanship and related matters will be final.

Multiple Teams

In order to keep the leagues as competitive as possible, owners will only be allowed to have one team in a league.

Prizes
Please see the Tournament Home Page for the specific prize for league winners. Generally, the prize breakdown rewards the top three finishers in the following breakdown:

Thus for $5 tourney, with $37.50 payout, the prizes would be:

1.  $18.75
2.  $11.25
3.  $ 7.50

For a $10 tournament, with a $75 guaranteed prize, the prizes would be:

1.  $37.50
2.  $22.50
3.  $15.00
