How to Play
The Pro Football Free Agent Challenge is as much about long-range strategy planning as it is about short-term picking of the best fantasy performers each week. Because once you use a player on your roster one week, you can’t use him again for the rest of the season.
So don’t just dig out the Week 1 schedule – get out the full 17-week slate and start planning.
If Donovan McNabb tends to get injured in the second half (which he does), should you make sure you play him early in the season (yes, you probably should)? If LaDainian Tomlinson picks up steam in the second half on the road, should you save him for later in the season? What if you do and he gets hurt in Week 9 before you get to use him?
Research the matchups each week to project the best time to use each player.
Each week, you select a standard fantasy roster including:
1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 Defensive Lineman, 1 Secondary Player, 1 Linebacker
Remember, after the player has been used, he is off the list. You must survive the rest of the way without him.
Good luck in the Pro Football Free Agent Challenge as you vie for weekly and overall prizes! Visit the rules page for the scoring details on how much each field goal, sack and rushing yard is worth.
