Jayson Werth added a two-run home run for the Phillies, while Jimmy Rollins was 3-4 with three runs scored. Joe Blanton earned the win for Philadelphia after allowing only two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Carl Crawford and Eric Hinske hit solo home runs for Tampa Bay, while Andy Sonnanstine was tagged for five runs (three were earned) on six hits in four innings.
