Phillies trim Rays in Game 3

Carlos Ruiz' second RBI of the game in bottom of the ninth inning gave the Philadelphia Phillies a 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 Saturday and a 2-1 lead in the World Series.

Philadelphia won the game as +110 underdogs, while the nine runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).

Ruiz homered and finished 2-for-3 at the plate, while Chase Utley homered and finished with two RBI's for the Phillies. J.C. Romero tossed just over an inning of relief for the win.

Gabe Gross drove in two runs for the Rays. J.P. Powell surrendered the winning run and was saddled with the loss.
